Lunch is a simple banana and mango smoothie. I could eat mangoes all day every day if I could afford it!
Its been a while since i posted some food as Ive been so busy Ive not been very imaginative!
So, this salad contains-
A bag of local organic salad
Courgette
Baby tomatoes
Red chard
Kale
Olives
The dressing contains-
Red pepper
Baby tomatoes
Apple
Just blend and then pour!
Trying to keep up with eating mostly raw 811 with some cooked clean food in the evenings.
Tonight I made this and it was lovely. It’s quinoa, cherry tomatoes, cabbage, sweet potato, new potato, carrot, tin of chopped tomatoes, courgette, small orange pepper, red pepper and a bombay potato spice mix stirred in.
So nice I may even go back for seconds!
I bloody love food! This is just a selection of the food I’ve eaten in the last 24 hours. Yes there’s a cooked sweet potato in there as I allow myself cooked food still, but the majority is raw.
I got a real hankering for mango after seeing Edgyveg’s post with lots of beautiful mango so nipped to my local grocers on the offchance they had some.
So pleased they did, so we bought everything they had. Not that cheap unfortunately. We got 16 for £17. Still I can’t wait to eat them!
Off to meet some friends for a picnic. It’s likely to be a health food catastrophe so I thought I best take my own!

A friend gave me some tagine as a thank you, so I cobbled together this meal and it was delicious but now I have hiccups!
I’ve been good today, walked about 4 miles and completed level 2 of 30 day shred. My food is nice and on track and I’ve had banana and persimmon smoothie and then banana, beetroot and date smoothie for lunch.
Today I ran home from work (About 2 miles down the beautiful Leeds Liverpool Canal.) and then over 2 hours of bouldering at the climbing gym. Did about 5 more that I’ve not done before and definitely feeling stronger. Managed to let go on a few overhangs to get to the final hold, which I’ve not been able to do before!
Aaaaaaaaaanyway, today I’ve eaten…
- Banana and kiwi smoothie
- Mango and strawberries
- A few dates
- Orange, celery, mango and carrot juice
- Garlic beans on toast
Pretty good day all in all! I think I’m going to try running home from work every Weds and Friday and see how I go with that along with all my other stuff.
